Faster-growing spruce now on the market!

Plant breeding has allowed nurseries to grow spruce plants with volume growth up to 35% greater than that of the spruces currently growing in Swedish forests.

Spruce cuttings with over 25 % greater growth are already on the market since the end of 2012 according to Bo Karlsson (Skogforsk).

Even if cuttings are more expensive, it pays off on the long run. Specialists recommend for most benefit and best results- plant rows alternately with genetically bred plants and ordinary plants.
