This study examines social capital in a local setting, namely in Southern Swededish forestry . The study finds that forest owners show trust in the well-anchored office of the local forest agency.

The industrial priorities of the non industrial forest owner association Södra erode trust of its members. Södra was a trustful partner in the aftermath of a storm that swept over Sweden.Personalised approach, stability and commitment are keys for trustful relationships.
